UNESCO IITE Call for Consultancy: Open Educational Resources in Central Asia

Call for Consultancy: Country reports on Open Educational Resources in Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan for the analytical survey “Open Educational Resources in Central Asia: State-of-the-Art, Challenges and Prospects for Development” (open for national consultants from respective countries.

The UNESCO Institute for Information Technologies in Education (UNESCO IITE) invites interested experts to submit proposals for preparation of country reports for Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.

Each country report shall comprise an analysis of the contemporary education strategy as applied to the use of open educational resources (OER), an overview of the modern practices and technologies of producing and using OER, as well as description of the most successful OER initiatives in one of the Central Asian countries. In addition, the report shall contain recommendations for the expansion of the use of OER in education in the respective country. The reports shall be compiled in Russian or English.

Interested individuals are invited to submit a cover letter accompanied by full resume stating details of qualifications and working experience, contact information, and their fee for undertaking this assignment to UNESCO IITE by 18 pm (Moscow time) on September 29, 2017.
