UNESCO Almaty Cluster Office, in cooperation with the Kazakhstan National Federation of UNESCO Clubs and the Kazakh Association of Regional Environmental Initiatives "EcoJer", is launching the Republican Transformational Marathon "Sustainability begins with me"!Promo Video in Russian (video in Kazakh is available here)
Within 30 days, the project participants will study the philosophy of a healthy lifestyle, the principles of proper nutrition, the importance of physical activity, the need to maintain mental health, preserving a clean environment and the basis of conscious consumption, as well as apply the knowledge gained in everyday life, increasing their social and civic activity.
A series of webinars involving experts will be organized for participants. Various UNESCO materials on Education for Sustainable Development will also be introduced during the webinars.
If you are between 12 and 45 years old - join the marathon!
The marathon starts on August 15, 2021 and will last for 30days.
Registration starts from August 15 and will last till September 17, 2021 .
