Memory of Central Asia - Meeting in Kazakhstan.

Sub-regional seminar on the Memory of the World Programme took place in Almaty, Kazakhstan on 2-3 April, 2003.

Representatives of the National MOW Committees of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, representatives of the Ministry of Culture, Information and Public Accord of the Republic of Kazakhstan invited to the event. The workshop defined action plan and setting up of National and Sub-Regional Registers of the Documentary heritage of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.
