"The Electronic Archive of Kazakhstan" is the first electronic publication in the republic which contains 40 archival documents (total 168-pages) dating back to the XVIII - XIX centuries, which are contained in the Central State Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The documents reflect administrative work and records of the tsar's regime on the Kazakh Land, as well as correspondence of Kazakh political elite and officials of Orenburg, Western Siberia, Semirechye governorships. The documentary heritage which the CD-ROM consist of is also of great interest from the point of heraldry, genealogy view.
The CD-ROM was produced within the framework of UNESCO CI "HeritageNet - Central Asia" project by the Foundation of Social and Human Sciences Informatization under informational support from the Central State Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
